This is a result of further breeding work by David Metcalfe producing this very heavy and straight barrelled leek. David won the NVS Championships with it in 2008 and Peter Clark won the same competition in 2009. Posted to you in flat plastic containers from early to mid December. On receipt, these plants must be grown in a heated greenhouse with a minimum night temperature of 50ºF, preferably, with some bottom heat for the first few weeks as well. To guarantee reservation of your rooted bulbils, you are advised to order as early as possible. Orders received after the middle of December will be posted out during the first week of January 2010.
