We had a very successful show on the last weekend in September at Malvern winning a Gold as well as the RHS Best Exhibit at the Show. I was more than pleased as I had no Leeks, Onions or Celery, but that’s another story!
David Parry – Two Marrows
Sherie Plumb – 10 Runner Beans. The consistency that she shows on the bench with her Runner Beans is unreal.
David Thomas with UK record Cabbage 56.4 kg (124.35 lbs.
Mike Smith from St Asaph winning the Best Trug in the Championship
Ian Stocks – 3 Sweet Candle carrots. Three really excellent specimens.
Ivor Mace – 3 Large Onions
Joe Atherton (in the distance) winning WR Long Beetroot 6.673 metres.
Joe Atherton again with WR longest Parsnip Picador 6.281 metres
Marcus Powell Mini Collection. Marcus had six First Prizes, no mean achievement for someone who only started seriously about four years ago.
Andrew Jones with winning parsnips and Best in Show
The completed stand – Gold and Best Exhibit in the Show.
